The Founding of the Ogston Motor Company

The Deemster Motor Car was originally offered for sale in 1914 by Jarrot Ltd, the principles being Mr. Charles Jarrot, Mr. J.N.Ogston A.M.I.C.E ,  Mr. H.C.M. Stevens and Mr. H.C.Scofield.

Their advert in Autocar February 1914 announces they have acquired the entire output of the new light car manufactured by The Ogston Motor Co. Ltd of Acton, London

War intervened, and The Ogston Motor Co.(1918) was formed .
